Robert McCormack
Robert McCormack is an artist, curator and educator living and
working in Glasgow. He holds BA honours from the Glasgow School of Art
in Painting & Printmaking, an alt/Masters from the New Art School and a
Diploma in Education from the University of Glasgow. After graduating he
co-coordinated Graduate Drive Thru, a covid recovery exhibition on a
high rise car park and in 2021, Project Wunderkammer at Transmission
Gallery and recently developed Train to Draw on s subway. In addition to
curatorial and studio based practice he works as a freelance tutor with
people with additional support needs, in higher education and in
mainstream education. He recently completed research on residency in
Reykjavik, Iceland with SIM and is about to embark on a residency in
Angus through artist Karla Black. Later this year he will travel to
Florence after received the RSA Kinross travel scholarship to develop
drawing work. He recently received of the The Clark (Mile-End) Talent
Bursary, for postgraduates at the University of Glasgow for his work in
